We would like to meet before the event, so the first Green Team meeting this year will be on Tuesday September 18th in my new room 1311. Hope to see you there! Any and all students are welcome to come to the meeting and join!

2. A Green Team Guide is attached that may give your small team a few more small project ideas, as well as some sample meeting agendas, recruitment ideas, etc.

3. Green School announcements: Feel free to pull from (edit as you see fit) the attached waste reduction and recycling announcements,  energy conservation announcements, and water conservation announcements.

4. Let me know how many “Turn off the faucet…” signs you will want and I’m happy to send those to you. The team can cut and laminate these and (if approved by admin) place near all the school faucets as a good visual reminder.

5. Cedar Grove’s bathroom paper towel composting agreement form is attached for you. Once you know if this can be implemented at PCMS, you can fill this out and scan it to Charlie Burke at charlieb@cgcompost.com for official approval. I can help you get the necessary indoor collection containers.

Green Team will meet the first and third Tuesday each month, after school, starting in October.

Green Team will take a field trip to be part of the 3rd Annual Sustainability Leadership Kick-Off on Tuesday October 10th from 8am-2pm.  Issaquah School District is partnering with King County Green Schools and the City of Issaquah for this event! More details and field trip forms to come!
